Elephant Parade, Royal Hospital, Chelsea, London, 2010. The Elephant Parade was an open air art exhibition of decorated elephant statues. Contributed by famous and upcoming artists they were for sale to promote the conservation of Asian elephants and raise public awareness of their life-threatening situation. In the past 100 years Asian elephant populations have plummeted from 250,000 to 25,000.
