Appuldurcombe House, Isle of Wight, c2010s(?). Begun in 1702, the Baroque house was designed by John James and built on the site of an earlier Tudor house for Sir Robert Worsley, 4th Baronet. In the 1770s the house was extended by Sir Richard Worsley, 7th Baronet and Capability Brown was commissioned to lay out the gardens.
