Tibetan Black Hat used in Ritual Black Hat Dance, of pre-Buddhist origin. One of the four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism, the Karma Kagyu are sometimes called the Black Hat Lamas, in reference to the Black Crown worn by the Karmapa.
