The Orator, Etruscan Bronze, detail, 1st century BC. Romano-Etruscan work from the late second century or early first century BC in Roman style depicting an Etruscan man, Aule Metele, wearing short Roman toga. His right arm is raised to indicate that he is an orator addressing the public. At National Archaeological Museum, Florence.
