Bronze scale armour fragment, 5th century BC. Part of the leather cuirass; once had eleven rows of bronze plates sewn on to a double leather backing by means of rawhide thongs, and the whole is surrounded by a leather strip; principally made of sheep- or goat-skin, the edging is proably calf-skin. Dimensions: length: 22.5 cmwidth: 13 cm
