Middle Corinthian cup (skyphos) with a frieze of ithyphallic naked dancers (satyrs?) participating in a dionysiac processiion (kommos), c600-575BC. Middle Corinthian cup; (A) decorated with padded dancers - the dancers are participating in a Komos: a rowdy drunken party, that may have some religious or dramatic significance, although we cannot tell for sure; (B) hawk and three sphinxes.
