Dessert plate depicting the British headquarters at Vimeiro, Portugal, 1808 (1810s). Item in Apsley House, London, from the Wellington Museum. Part of a dinner service which was given as a gift from the King of Prussia to the Duke of Wellington in 1819. Dessert plates of the Prussian Service show scenes of events in Wellington's life, in this case the Peninsular War.
