Ice pail depicting English and Spanish soldiers, 1817-1819. Item in Apsley House, London, from the Duke of Wellington's Prussian Service, made in Berlin in 1817-1819. This was a gift to the Duke from the King of Prussia, and depicts scenes from the Peninsular War. Shown here are an English infantryman and a Spanish irregular (guerilla).
