Gabriel Maura and Gamazo, (Madrid, 1879-1963). Spanish politician and historian, son of Antonio Maura y Montaner and married to the 5th Countess of Mortera, he was I Duke of Maura and a member of the Liberal-Conservative Party, he was Member of Parliament for Calatayud, representative of Spain at the Peace Conference of the Hague, 1907, at the London Naval Conference of 1908 and senator for life from 1919.
