'Entrance Hall at Rood Ashton, Wiltshire', mid 19th century. 'Residence of W.Long Esq, M.P.' - British politician Walter Hulme Long, 1st Viscount Long (1854-1924) lived here. It was built in 1808, and was altered and extended in 1836. The carved wooden panelling is visible here. The house was demolished in the 1970s.
