'Bird's Eye View of Castle Hedingham, Essex (Partial Reconstruction.)', (1931). Hedingham Castle in Essex is one of the best preserved Norman keeps in England. The keep was built c1140. This view shows: 'A - inner bailey on mount, B - keep built about 1130-40, C - outer bailey'.
