Court of Ponce de Leon, St. Augustine, Florida, USA, c1900. View of the Ponce de Leon Hotel, built by millionaire developer and Standard Oil co-founder Henry M Flagler and completed in 1888. It was designed by New York architecture firm Carrère & Hastings, their first major project. It is named after Spanish explorer and conquistador Juan Ponce de León (1474-1521).
