Fort Godwin coastal battery, near Kilnsea, East Riding of Yorkshire, 2014. Aerial view showing the ruins of the battery severely damaged by coastal erosion and collapsed on to the beach. Previously a Victorian fort, the battery was upgraded in the first year of World War I. The site was sold by the military in 1959 and converted into a caravan park.
