The destroyer 'HMS Windsor' at anchor, 1929. 'HMS Windsor' (D42) was a W-class destroyer of the British Royal Navy that saw service in the final months of World War I and in World War II. 'HMS Windsor' was built by Scotts Shipbuilding and Engineering Company at Greenock, Scotland and launched on 21 June 1918, she was commissioned on 28 August 1918.
