'The Yarborough Monument, Bembridge Down', late 19th century. Granite obelisk on Culver Down, Isle of Wight, erected in 1849 in memory of Charles Anderson-Pelham, created 1st Earl of Yarborough in 1837. Anderson-Pelham founded the prestigious Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes.
