'P.J. De Loutherbourg, R.A.', (c1900). Portrait of French artist Philip James de Loutherbourg (1740-1812) who was artistic advisor at the Drury Lane Theatre in London from 1771-1781. De Loutherbourg was an innovative set designer and scene painter, and later became an important figure in British landscape painting.
