'Lord Lovat', (c1872). Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat (1667-1747), Scottish Jacobite, was the Chief of Clan Fraser. He was executed on Tower Hill in London for his part in the Jacobite Rebellion of 1745, the last man to be publicly beheaded in Britain.
