Campden House and grounds, Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, early 17th century. A reproduction of an illustration showing Campden House and grounds, 1st Viscount Campden's mansion of 1609 which was destroyed in 1645. St James's Church is shown in the background. The house was built for Sir John Baptist Hicks, 1st Viscount Campden, and destroyed during the Civil War. The postcard carries an emblem including the letters PGL and an image of a bobbin or similar.
