The Sprudel at Carlsbad, 19th century. Visitors at the Hot Spring Colonnade (or Sprudel) in Karlovy Vary in western Bohemia, (now the Czech Republic). The spa town was named after Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor and King of Bohemia, who founded the city in 1370.
