Schütte-Lanz airship, 1915, (1932). One of a series of rigid airships designed and built by the Luftschiffbau Schütte-Lanz company. Most Schütte-Lanz airships were made of plywood rather than aluminum alloy. Eugene and Moritz Garbáty, who were Jewish, were driven out of business by the Nazis in the late 1930s, and forced to sell their factory which lay empty for over 70 years.
