'Friedrich V. Von Der Pfalz', (1933). Portrait of King Frederick V (1596-1632), Elector Palatine of the Rhine and King of Bohemia. Frederick was forced to abdicate both roles, and the shortness of his reign in Bohemia earned him the mocking nickname of 'the Winter King'. After a miniature of 1621 by Peter Oliver. From "Gestalten Der Weltgeschichte", a book of cigarette-card portrait miniatures of figures in world history from the last four hundred years. [Germany, 1933]
