Royal Turk's Head Hotel, 73 Grey Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne, c1955-c1980. The interior of the Turks Head Hotel, showing a curved bar in the corner, with barrels supporting the shelving at the back, and some bar stools in the foreground. The building that the Turks Head was situated had been built for Richard Grainger c1837, and has been used as a location for houses, shops and a hotel. The image shows a curved bar in the corner of the room, with shelving built along the walls and supported at each end by barrels. There are bar stools on the customer side, and a half-height glass and wooden screen used to separate areas on the right.
