Nave of Christ Church, Meadow Lane, Hunslet, Leeds, West Yorkshire, c1955-c1972. An interior view of Christ Church, showing the aisled nave and looking towards the east window. The church was built in 1823-1825 by RD Chantrell, and demolished in c1972. The church had an aisled nave with box pews throughout, the arcade supported by slim polygonal iron piers, and a wooden screen surrounding the north-eastern corner. The chancel is not separated from the nave, but is raised on two small steps.
