Severn Estuary, Gloucestershire, 2014. Aerial view showing the foundations of the Severn Railway Bridge and the wrecks of the two tanker barges involved in the Severn Bridge Disaster of 1960. Originally built in 1870 for the Severn Bridge Railway Company, the bridge was dismantled in 1969 after the latest in several incidents of vessels on the river colliding with it.
