'Henry Fielding', c1754, (1827). Portrait of English novelist and dramatist Henry Fielding (1707-1754), above a shelf containing a quill pen and inkwell, the masks of Comedy and Tragedy, various volumes including an open copy of his novel "Amelia", and a sword. Engraving after the original by Hogarth depicting Fielding at the age of 48, probably made in the first half of the year 1754.
