Scrivelsby Court, Scrivelsby, Lincolnshire, 1956. A view of the derelict house taken from the L-shaped moat to the south. The building which is shown in this photograph was demolished in c1956-1959, having earlier been destroyed by fire. The current building on the site, also known as Scrivelsby Court, was originally the gatehouse to the main house. The surrounding park was laid out by Humphry Repton in 1791.
