Devonshire House, Piccadilly, Westminster, London, c1924. Devonshire House viewed from the south-west during demolition with the Berkeley Hotel partially visible in the background. The Palladian house was designed by William Kent for William Cavendish, 3rd Duke of Devonshire, and completed in c1740. The house stood entry after the First World War until its demolition.
