St Andrew's Church, Park Avenue, Roker, Sunderland, Tyne & Wear, c1955-c1980. A detailed view showing a tapestry at the east end of the chancel in the church, depicting the Adoration of the Magi. The tapestry is by Morris & Co and is believed to be a design by Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones. The church was built between 1906 and 1907 by Edward Schroder Prior, with limestone rubble and concrete arches. The chancel is narrow and high, and is covered with wooden panelling with matching doors.
