'Lower Falls of the Yellowstone, Wyoming', c1897. Lower Yellowstone Falls in the Rocky Mountains at Canyon Rhyolite. The first European to see the falls was likely French fur trapper Baptise Ducharme. Jim Bridger and James Gremmell claimed they visited the falls in 1846.
