'The Australian Landing-Place at Gaba-Tepe', (1919). Scene from the First World War, 1914-1919: 'The landing-place chosen by the Australians was quickly transformed into a depot for all war stores and supplies of every kind. Roads and paths were cut on the steep hillsides to facilitate transport to the fighting line farther inland.'
