'Versailles', (1919). The palace of Versailles in France: 'From September 1870 till the conclusion of peace in 1871, Versailles was the Headquarters of the German army. Here King William was proclaimed German Emperor and the Capitulation of Paris was signed. After the peace it was the seat of the French Government till 1879.'
