85 Little Park Street, Coventry, West Midlands, 1941. The front elevation of 84-85 Little Park Street, premises of Ladkins Tobacconists Shop, with the entrances to Court 18 and Court 19 visible on either side of the property. Coventry City centre was devastated by air raids in November 1940. The bombing left the cathedral in ruins and destroyed much of the historic fabric of the city. Windows in the shop and accommodation above are boarded up in this view, probably as a result of bomb damage.
