'The Vision of the Holy Grail', 1891. Drawing executed for 'The Attainment: The Vision of the Holy Grail to Sir Galahad, Sir Bors, and Sir Perceval', one of a series of six tapestries made by Morris & Co, illustrating the story of the Grail quest in Sir Thomas Malory's "Le Morte d'Arthur". The composition and figures were designed by Edward Burne-Jones, the heraldry was by William Morris, with floral details and backgrounds by John Henry Dearle. The tapestry is part of the collection of the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. From "Modern Art Monographs".
