'Lady Alma-Tadema's Studio', late 19th century. The studio of British painter Laura Theresa Alma-Tadema (1852-1909) in the house she shared with her husband and fellow painter Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema (1836-1912). The house in Grove End Road, St John's Wood in London, had previously belonged to another painter, James Tissot. From "Modern Art Monographs".
