'Baron Ephraim Lópes Pereira d'Aguilar, 2nd Baron d'Aguilar - Of Starvation Farm', 1821. Portrait made in 1803 of Ephraim Lópes Pereira d'Aguilar (1739-1802), naturalised British eccentric merchant farmer. The baron kept animals at Colebrook Row, Islington, London, known as 'Starvation Farm' because of the inadequate food he provided for his cattle.
