The Italian astrologer and physician Gian Battista Seni with the corpse of Wallenstein (1583-1634), a Bohemian military leader who commanded the Catholic imperial armies during the Thirty Years War (1618-1648). Wallenstein was a believer in astrology and had his horoscope done by at least two leading astrologers of the time, Johannes Kepler and Giovanni Battista Seni. He was assassinated by Scottish and Irish officers after mounting a rebellion against Ferdinand II in 1634.
