Frederick the Great escapes danger through quick thinking, 1758, (1936). 'Friedrich Der Grosse Entgeht Durch Geistesgegenwart Einer Gefahr, 1758'. While out riding in Mähren (in Germany), King Frederick the Great of Prussia (1712-1786) noticed a Croat aiming a gun at him. He shouted to the man that there was no powder in the priming pan, at which the man dropped the weapon in confusion, and fled.
