Meeting of Wellington and Blücher at Waterloo, (Belle-Alliance), 18 June 1815, (1936). 'Begungung Wellingtons Mit Blücher Bei Waterloo (Belle-Alliance) 18 Juni 1815'. The Battle of Waterloo (in Belgium), in which the French under Emperor Napoleon I were defeated by the British under the Duke of Wellington (1769-1852) and the Prussians led by field marshal Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher (1742-1819), marked the end of France's domination in Europe.
