Prussian field marshal Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher (1742-1819) at Genappe (in Belgium) after Prussian and British forces definitively defeated French emperor Napoleon's army. He holds Napoleon's hat, medals and sword, taken as war trophies. His leg is bandaged after he was trapped under his dead horse for several hours during a previous battle.
