Emperor Napoleon III, (1936). 'Kaiser Napoleon III'. Portrait of Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte (1808-1873), the only President of the French Second Republic and, as Napoleon III, the Emperor of the Second French Empire. He was the nephew and heir of Napoleon I. After a painting by Hippolyte-Jean Flandrin, made in 1861, in the Castle of Compiegne Museum, France.
