'Execution of Joan of Arc', (30 May 1431), 1890. Joan of Arc (1412-1431) was canonized as a Roman Catholic saint for the part she played in the Hundred Years' War, after trail by bishop Pierre Cauchon and found guilty she was burned at the stake in the Vieux-Marche, Rouen on 30 May 1431.
