'Boxgrove Church, Sussex', 19th century. View of the interior, showing the font, carved wooden pulpit and the de la Warr chantry chapel. The Chantry Chapel in Boxgrove Priory, Boxgrove, near Chichester in Hampshire, was built c 1530 by Thomas West, 9th Lord de la Warr, Lord of the Manor of Halnaker and patron of the priory. The Priory was dissolved in 1536, but the church is still in use as the Church of St Mary and St Blaise.
