'The Museum, Kew Gardens', c1915. The Orangery at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, west London, was designed by Sir William Chambers and completed in 1761. It was found to be too dark for the cultivation of citrus plants and they were moved out in the 1840s. It was used a a museum and later as a restaurant. Postcard.
