'Rt. Hon. T. B. Jenkinson, Earl of Liverpool', c1810, (c1884). Robert Jenkinson, 2nd Earl of Liverpool (1770-1828), British statesman educated at Charterhouse and Christ Church, Oxford. Called for repressive domestic measures during Peterloo Massacre, awareded the Order of the Garter following the Napoleonic Wars. Was Prime Minister (1812-1827) during reigns of George III and George IV.
