The sinking of the 'Lusitania', May 1915, (1933). Scene 'outside the Cunard offices in London, which were besieged by friends and relatives of those known to be on board'. On 7 May 1915, the RMS 'Lusitania' was torpedoed by a German submarine off the south of Ireland, with the loss of 1,198 lives. Although unarmed, she was carrying munitions.
