Schwarzenbergplatz, Vienna, Austria, c1935. Central area which was laid out after the demolition of the city walls in the mid 19th century. The square contains the Schwarzenberg Monument, an equestria statue which was erected to commemorate Karl Philipp, Prince of Schwarzenberg (1771-1820), the victorious commander of the 1813 Battle of Leipzig.
