Sarcophagus of Santa Giustina, c1476, (1881). Etching of a marble tomb made c1476, probably for the church of Santa Giustina at Padua in Italy, by Gregorio di Allegretto. The front of the sarcophagus shows the body of the saint, carved in relief, lying on a bier and covered with a cloth. At the ends are reliefs of angels swinging censers. From "The South Kensington Museum", a book of engraved illustrations, with descriptions, of the works of art in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London (formerly known as the South Kensington Museum).
