John Philip Kemble (1757-1823) English actor and brother of Sarah Siddons, engaged at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane where he became manager in 1778 and Theatre Royal, Covent Garden, from 1803 where following a fire, he inflated prices which led to the Old Price Riots.
