'Seneca', (c4 BC-AD 65), 1830. Seneca the Younger (c4 BC-AD 65) Roman Stoic philosopher, statesman, dramatist and satirist exiled to Corsica by emperor Claudius in AD 41, returned in 54 AD as tutor to Nero, was forced to take his own life in 65AD for alleged complicity in the Pisonian conspiracy.
