Alms Bowl with Celestial Design, 1900s. Although created in the common form of a begging bowl, this was a ritual object, engraved with a rare Goryeo-period landscape. The sun, moon, and Big Dipper are carved in the sky, while a tiny pavilion and a tall pagoda can be seen on top of the mountains.
